Hidden City Tours

A personalised route for each guide.  Street Life tour focuses on the old town and specifically the Rava quarter.  It is a compact small area that we can easily walk around and take in some key places for the homeless.
The route for each guide will vary according to their personal experience on the streets allowing him/her to share his personal story and journey with you.

Our tour starts on the emblematic Ramblas.  Everyday thousands of tourists walk down The Ramblas, in fact Barcelona receives over 7 million visitors each year and is now the 4th visited European City, 10th globally.
And yet there are over 3,000 people who sleep on the streets of the city every night.
The idea of our Barcelona Street Life tour is to take you through the daily life of a person who lives on the streets of Barcelona from where to sleep, wash, change clothes, eat and how to look for work.

Tour lasts 1.5 hours aproximately.  Available in English, French, German and Spanish.

Suitable for both first time and repeat visitors.

Ramón runs our Boquería tours in English and French.  Professionally trained at culinary school in New York, Ramón has worked in Michelin starred restaurants.  Food is his life and he will share his incredible depth of knowledge and love of food with you on your journey through the market.

Juan runs our Boquería tours in German and Spanish.  Passionate about food, Juan worked in Wolfgang´s Chiringuito de Dios soup kitchen preparing hearty meals for the homeless.  Although Juan has received no profesional training, his talents in the kitchen have incredible merit.  The soup kitchen depends on donations.  There Juan planned and cooked up nutritional meals for 50 people everyday based on the food they receive in donations.  “I just open the fridge and start creating!” jokes Juan.
