Creating jobs for Barcelona´s homeless

Barcelona tapas events for student and incentives groups

On our walking tour routes we pass by a locally run soup kitchen working as a centrally located charity in the heart of the Raval district of the old town of Barcelona.  We stop by this small and friendly soup kitchen on our Classic and Streetlife tours.  It is a privately run project that represents the essence of our work too, small and personal but yet makes a huge difference to the lives of those who have nothing on a day to day basis.

Through a closer collaboration and the wish to offer a unique experience to our customers.

Your tour (Classic, Streetlife or Ultimate) will end at the soup kitchen and after a brief explanation of its mission, you will sample mouthwatering nibbles washed down with the tipple of your choice!
On the menu will be:
Cured meats
Manchego cheese
Spanish sausage cooked in cider

Spanish omlette
Prawns in garlic

Wine, beer, soft drinks and water

The tapas experience is a unqiue chance to learn about a local community soup kitchen and it´s role in serving the Raval neighbourhood´s homeless and families at risk of extreme poverty.

The tapas experience also includes a company presentation by Hidden City Tours founder Lisa Grace and an open debate on homelessness, poverty, social innovation and entrepreneurship.
