Barcelona tapas events for student and incentives groups

The Chiringuito de Dios (translated as God´s Beach Bar) soup kitchen is a centrally located charity in the heart of the Raval district of the old town of Barcelona.  We stop by this small and friendly soup kitchen on our Classic and Streetlife tours.  It is a privately run project that represents the essence of our work too, small and personal but yet makes a huge difference to the lives of those who have nothing on a day to day basis.

Through a closer collaboration and the wish to offer a unique experience to our customers, Tapas in the Chiringuito was launched in January 2015.

Your tour (Classic or Street Life) will end at the soup kitchen and after a brief explanation of its mission, you will sample mouthwatering nibbles washed down with the tipple of your choice!
On the menu will be:
Cured meats
Manchego cheese
Spanish sausage cooked in cider

Spanish omlette
Prawns in garlic

Wine, beer, soft drinks and water

The tapas experience is a unqiue chance to learn about a local community soup kitchen and it´s role in serving the Raval neighbourhood´s homeless and families at risk of extreme poverty.

The tapas experience also includes a company presentation by Hidden City Tours founder Lisa Grace and an open debate on homelessness, poverty, social innovation and entrepreneurship.

Join us on a stroll through the narrow and enchanting streets of the Raval quarter of Barcelona´s old town.  Our tour doesn’t include stops for drinks at the various iconic night spots that we pass by so you may want to make notes so you can retrace your steps later on in the evening!
